There Might Be Glass Shards In Your DiGiorno And Lean Cuisine

It’s not delivery, because if it was, we wouldn’t have to worry about biting into pieces of glass.

It is possible that glass made its way into some of Nestle’s products, so they voluntarily recalled several of its DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s products that contain spinach, Thursday.

In its press release, Nestle didn’t specify how the glass may have gotten in the products, or why the believe it could be there, so maybe it’s just a hunch on their part.

The recall affects the following products, so take a look and make sure they’re not in your freezer:

  • DiGiorno Thin & Crispy Spinach and Garlic Pizza
  • DiGiorno Rising Crust Spinach and Mushroom Pizza
  • DiGiorno pizzeria Thin Crust Spinach and Mushroom Pizza
  • Lean Cuisine Spinach and Mushroom Pizza
  • DiGiorno pizzeria Tuscan-style Chicken Pizza
  • Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli
  • Lean Cuisine Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli
  • Lean Cuisine Spinach, Artichoke & Chicken Panini
  • Lean Cuisine Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli
  • Stouffer’s Vegetable Lasagna (10 oz., 37 oz. and 96 oz. sizes)
  • Stouffer’s Spinach Soufflé
  • Stouffer’s Chicken Lasagna

Thankfully, it looks like Nestle caught it in time and no injuries have been reported, yet.

The specific product codes and “best before” dates are listed on the site, so make sure you don’t eat any of their spinach products and take them back if you have to.
