Guerrilla Artist Fills His City’s Potholes With Beautiful Ice Cream-Themed Mosaics

There are many things that trouble the streets of Chicago, but its potholes literally cause trouble in the streets.

Jim Bachor is a man who has some kind of weird thing for potholes, but at least he uses his artistic abilities to highlight the problem. While he has filled potholes before with his beautiful art, this time he is trying to cool things down in Chicago with ice cream-themed mosaics.

Acoording to Fox News Chicago, over 600 potholes had to be filled in Chicago in 2013, so it’s pretty easy to see why Bachor has so many streets to use as his canvas.

Bachor said he learned his mosaic techniques in Italy and that he sees his art as a, “One-step-at-a-time beautification of the city of Chicago.”
