This A-Hole Stole $300 from a Girl Scouts’ Cookie Table

One of the simple joys that come with spring time is knowing that Girl Scout cookies are in season. Those little girls sing and dance their way into our hearts and somehow convince us to spend way more than we should on snacks.

Well, some jerk in San Jose, CA, tried to steal that joy by robbing a troop that was selling cookies outside of a Safeway supermarket.

According to NBC Bay Area, Cody Phillip Gintz is being held on $50,000 bail after taking $300 from the troop’s cash box when he thought the girls weren’t looking.

A brave 10-year-old Scout tried holding onto the cash box in a tug-of-war, but the grown-ass man strong armed it away from her and drove away.

Thankfully, one of the troop leaders memorized the thief’s license plate number, called the police, and police were able to find Gintz.

This is what the biznatch looks like:

asshole
Gintz said that he needed the money to score some heroin, which makes it even worse. He robbed little girls to feed his smack addiction.

The money was soon returned to the troop and police even bought the remaining $240 worth of cookies, plus a $60 donation.

The dude messed with the wrong Scouts and paid for it.
