7-Eleven Presents Hangover Part II Super Big Gulp Cups

May 26th will see the launch of The Hangover Part II, but convenience store chain 7-Eleven is leading the way in cross-segment promotions. In a joint collaboration with location-based smart phone application SCVNGR, 7-Eleven is featuring five different Super Big Gulp Cups featuring key characters from upcoming sequel to the hit 2009 film, The Hangover.

The gist of the promotional tie-in is a multi-part Facebook and SCVNGR project, mainly promoting a mobile scavenger hunt that allows customers to download the app and build up points by checking in to stores and completing various tasks. Completing the tasks will allow you to unlock limited-edition wallpapers and other prizes, like a trip to Las Vegas.
