Yelpers Now Have 12 Seconds to Post their Restaurant Feels, Review Site Adds Video Feature

Anyone who has ever felt their angry 5-paragraph Yelp review was not enough can now breathe easy. Yelpers will be able to rant about critique their favorite restaurants, and other establishments, through a 12-second video. This has to be a good idea, right?

According to Business Insider, Yelp’s product manager Madhu Prabaker said that the video feature is intended to help fully capture the atmosphere of a restaurant and small businesses more than a photo ever could. The feature will soon be available through Yelp’s mobile app and will let users record and post a short video review of a place of business.

Sadly, the videos will be filtered (much like Yelp’s photos) so we won’t see anything too crazy or inappropriate. Like that’s ever stopped the internet.
