Map Reveals Every Kickstarter-Funded Restaurant in the US

Kickstarter is an unstoppable force when it comes to new and exciting projects — funding over 500 restaurant-related projects since it became a popular crowdfunding site.

Thanks to Google’s Map Engine, you can now look at every restaurant that Kickstarter helped create, whether getting the funding for the entire project or for smaller aspects of the restaurant biz.  You can also see the final numbers for each Kickstarter campaign — from Homeroom’s (“Two girls, one dream and lots of mac and cheese”) final tally of $7,646 and 98 backers to right down the street from our Downtown Santa Ana office with Little Sparrow at $25,631 from 54 backers.

Kickstarter may also create a separate “restaurant” section to meet with demands. For now though, curious foodies can explore this impressive list of crowd funded food establishments here.
