Man Dies from Drinking $58,000 Worth of Crystal Meth, Mistakes it for Health Drink

A man from the UK died after mistakenly drinking liquid crystal meth from a fruit drink bottle. Ramano Dias, 55, was given a bottle to drink by his daughter Katee which was labeled as a fruit drink. According to Cambridge News, Katee found the bottle from a package that was delivered to her home by mistake. She had kept the bottle for about three years until recently finding it again. Katee gave it to her father thinking it was a health drink.

Dias drank half of the bottle before he began complaining about the taste of the liquid, he then experienced a burning sensation in his throat and said, “I am in trouble here. I am dying, I am dead.”

Investigators say that there was about $58,000 of liquid meth in the bottle and that the package was more than likely meant to be delivered to a dealer.
