Taco Bell announced yesterday via an Instagram video (damn, they work fast) that a new Doritos Locos Taco flavor will be joining the happy DLT family. No word yet on what the exact flavor will be, as the chain simply announced, “Soon. #DoritosLocosTacos #InstagramVideo.” Way to be a delicious tease.

While we wait to hear word on what the flavor will be and when it will drop, we here at Foodbeast have a few ideas of our own. Note, these are only hopeful guesses, so don’t get you panties in a bunch . . . yet.

Doritos Flamas Doritos Locos Taco

Last year, we tried out the Flamas Doritos Locos Tacos. At the time, they were still in the test phase, but we definitely wouldn’t be mad if we saw these babies go national. They pack a serious flavor punch.

Salsa Verde

DLT fans have pleaded in desperation for this flavor. But will the folks at Taco Bell listen? Again, we have no idea, but salsa verde would work nicely when paired with a taco supreme. We’re just sayin’.
