Foodbeasts of the Week: Triumvir & Franco Shade

Welcome to our first installment of our ongoing feature, “Foodbeast of the Week”. In these weekly write-ups, we will be showcasing your awesome foodbeast adventures and posting them here on the front page for all our hungry readers to see! All you gotta do is take your camera, go grub, and document it (e-mail it to us of course)! Everyone loves food, and everyone has their spot, so all you have to do to get featured is: eat! This week, since we are just launching this feature, we’ll begin by stealing an adventure from some of our favorite local Orange County clothing brands, Triumvir and Franco Shade. Without even asking, these guys garnered our respects during their daily lunch break by hitting up one of our favorite local chains, Taqueria de Anda. Join them on their adventure:

Since both these clothing brands seem to reside in the beauty of downtown Santa Ana (up for argument), they definitely had a lot of Mexican eateries to choose from, and today, it was time for Taqueria de Anda (open 24 hours mind you!).

Taqueria de Anda does it pretty simple, and that’s the beauty of most proper taquerias. Pick your meat, beans/no beans, rice/no rice, what color sauce, be on your way. It was a big deal when one of the Fullerton branches added cheese to the menu, but that is another post for another day!

The creative minds over at Triumvir and Franco Shade wasted absolutely no time getting into the meat of things (ok…second strike for me on the cornballness).

Beautiful people eating beautiful food, does it get much better?

Apparently, it does get better.

Arlo of Franco Shade knows what’s up when it comes to dessert.

That just about wraps it up for our first food beast of the week. Want to quickly shout out and thank the creative clothing minds of Franco Shade and Triumvir. As you can see, these guys make more than just good clothes, they know how to eat. Stay tuned to their respective blogs because they are always sharing their good eats with the world, alongside their innovative clothing!

( Don’t forget to submit your eats to info[@]foodbeast.com to be up for future FOODBEATS OF THE WEEK. Keep eating people! )
