Burweedo: Restaurant Serves Hemp Burrito made with Churros

If you’ve ever wanted to mix your — ahem — “extracurricular activities” with your burrito obsession, get yourself to a Tijuana Flats.  They’re rolling out some new burritos made with hemp tortillas.  Hemp is a variety of cannabis plant, and while these tasty lunch creations won’t give you the trip you’re looking for, they still look pretty damn tasty if we may say so.

The new burweedos come in three flavors, wrapped in a tortilla packed full of hemp seeds (which are actually a great source of proteins and omega-3). The Pie Roller features a mix of pepperoni, cheese, fajita peppers, onions, and mushrooms, packed with red sauce. It’s also topped with more sauce, pepperoni, and cheese. Do with that what you will.

The Tree Hugger is made with roasted poblano peppers, onions, mushrooms, and plenty of cheesy goodness from cream cheese, regular cheese, and queso. Tortilla chips and scallions add crunch.

The Sweet Hemptation is made with crispy chicken, queso, cheese, bacon, and OH MY GOD churros, cinnamon sugar, and maple syrup.

These calorie-packed flavor bombs are under $10 dollars, and probably enough food to feed you twice. That is, unless you’re partying beforehand.
