McDonalds Testing Bacon Clubhouse Sandwiches in Michigan

A burger that looks like it wants to eat itself is definitely a burger I want to try.

GrubGrade reports that a new menu item at McDonalds has been spotted in the southwest Michigan area. According to one GrubGrade reader, the Bacon Clubhouse is available as a burger or chicken sandwich. The Bacon Clubhouse features “a new soft artisan roll, caramelized grilled onions, applewood-smoked bacon, white cheddar, leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and a special sauce.” GrubGrade reader Justin describes the sandwich’s taste like a grown up Big Mac. We have to wonder if this creation happened to be the result of McDonalds Build-Your-Own-Burger concept.

A similar version of this burger, the Clubhouse Quarter Pounder, was seen in Miami last Fall. With all those fancy toppings we hope this burger gets to see a national release so we can get our hands on one.
