For anyone who’s ever told you that food shouldn’t be played with, they’ve clearly missed the delicious opportunities that artist Victor Nunes sees in his everyday meals. The artist has a penchant to create a variety of faces in his food that range from the cute to disturbing.

Inspired by a source of fruits, soups, breads and even ice creams, Nunes has a knack for creating life out of the everyday diet. The Sa0 Paolo-based artist describes his type of work as “just for fun,” though there is clearly a show of professional talent in his creations.

It inspired us to play with our food next time we sit down to a meal, that’s for sure. Pretty sure it won’t bite.
