Adventure: Hatam's Restaurant (Anaheim, CA)

Yesterday was National Foodbeast Day, doubling as the day of our website's birth, May 6th. While the entire day was filled with good eats, our lunch hour was shared with the homies from Loud & Obnoxious and IM-King clothing, all under one roof for some amazing Persian cuisine in Anaheim. Vince and Robert of L&O have had high praise for this restaurant ever since I met them, and I must concur, their taste is now 110% certified.

While we were perusing their menu, they brought us out this dish of butter, onions and peppers! All with their amazing bread makes for some quaint appetizers!

Robert/Pfeffer (in the yellow) was our tour guide for the afternoon. Look up "foodbeast" in the dictionary, you'll find him there in the synonym section. Dude throws down 4x4's at In-N-Out like they're chicken nuggets.

This was Robert's dish, melt-in-your-mouth chicken, fluffy basmati rice, roasted vegetables. Very tough to go wrong!

No homo?

Brian (IM-King) strayed from our chicken and beef orders by throwing down some lamb chops! Taylor loves to takes macro pictures of food while it sits on people's forks...I definitely can't complain.

Matt's (L&0) dish. This is actually what I plan on ordering next time I hit this place up, look at the rice! It's sprinkled with nuts and raisins.

Marc's (MK) Lebanese customs were definitely showing, here he is making a mini-bite of chicken and rice. Old country much? Marc is our inhouse media consultant. When we're not making fun of his accent and his older brother, dude makes some amazing videos for us and the world.

Pfeffer always got jokes for the table.

We're busy. If you look at me in the beanie, I seem to like what's in my mouth (that's what she said).

Taylor does not leave much on the plate. I'm surprised one of the tomatoes is actually gone, he hates tomatoes.

To round off the meal, Pfeffer ordered up the table an awesome rosewater ice cream. Don't think twice, this ice cream is pretty awesome!

That was lunch! Make sure to stay on top of the IM-King blog. Andy, Brian and the rest of their team are definitely doing some awesome things in streetwear/music, it would be a shame to miss out on their journey! As for the fellas over at Loud & Obnoxious, when they're not making clothes or touring with their band, they're out getting their FoodBeast on. Keep on eating on everyone. Oh yeah, for those interested, which you should be, Hatam's restaurant has a website with menu, prices, and directions. Enjoy!
