Wendy’s Debuts New English Muffin Sandwiches That Look Awfully Familiar

First Burger King takes a crack at McDonald’s Snack Wrap and now, Wendy’s is coming at the Golden Arches with its very own take on the McMuffin. McDonald’s fans may be tempted to switch teams on August 22, when this new breakfast item hits menus nationwide.

Hot and buttery. The only two words that can describe Wendy’s two new English Muffin Sandwiches. The light and fluffy breakfast additions are topped with a fresh-cracked egg, your choice of oven-baked Applewood Smoked bacon or a savory grilled sausage patty and finished off with melted American cheese.

The new muffin sandwiches are also baked with a one-of-a-kind buttery spread that complements brown butter sweetness with fresh black pepper. Give us all the butter!
