This Water Bottle Automatically Reminds You to Stay Hydrated Every Hour

Sitting in front of a computer screen all day can be dehydrating work. Sometimes a guy just forgets to have some water. Because no one wants to pass out with their Reddit history open to the entire office, Vittel created a pretty impressive and thoughtful design that helps remind people to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Called the Refresh Cap, the water bottle’s simple design has an interesting feature: the cap acts as a timer, counting down the minutes of each hour since the last sip. Once that hour is up, a tiny red flag pings itself up and reminds people to take a drink.

While the bottle is currently only a marketing campaign for Vittel to study behavioral changes when drinking more water, it led to positive responses from those it encouraged to drink more water.
