This Spoon Concept Uses Body Heat to Melt Ice Cream That is Frozen Solid

One of the worst things in the world, besides waiting patiently for your Hot Pocket to cool down after a microwave zap, is having to spoon your way into ice cream that has been frozen into a solid brick.

The design team at the Lemnos brand will not stand for such first world problems. Introducing the 15.0%, a series of spoons made out of solid aluminum and transfers the temperature of the hand holding the spoon to slowly melt the ice cream you’re digging into, making it easier to scoop out of that ice concrete cylinder that holds your dessert.

Design is what theoretically makes this product work the way it does. It utilizes the high thermal conductivity of aluminum coupled with the plump shape of the spoon that fits right into the palm of your hand. This design makes allows for the entire human palm, not just the fingertips, to wrap around the handle so you can protect your palm from any discomfort a traditional skinny handle would normally hit you with.

Kind of lucks like a plumpier version of spoons frozen yogurt locations have been using for some time now. Glad to see someone’s thinking about the ice cream eaters of the world.
