It’s always news whenever Taco Bell gets creative with its Mexican Pizza.

The new Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza lands nationwide on May 21, stacking the chain’s newer Cantina Chicken lineup onto one of its most beloved menu items. The build layers slow-roasted Cantina Chicken, black beans, green chile sauce, pico de gallo, purple cabbage, and a three-cheese blend between the Mexican Pizza’s signature crispy tortilla shells.

The chain first teased the mashup during Live Más Live back in March, and it marks the first of several Mexican Pizza variations Taco Bell plans to roll out this year.

Alongside the pizza, Taco Bell is also introducing a new Jalapeño Citrus Salsa made with red jalapeños and guajillo chiles. The salsa joins the Cantina Chicken lineup next to the Avocado Verde packets that already developed their own following online.

Rewards members get first access through the Taco Bell app on May 19 and 20 before the wider release hits everyone else on May 21.

The timing makes sense. The Mexican Pizza already staged one of the biggest comeback stories in fast food after customer demand forced Taco Bell to bring it back in 2022. Meanwhile, Cantina Chicken has become one of the chain’s bigger pushes over the past year as chicken continues to dominate fast food menus across the board.

Now the two finally meet in the same box.
