Subway UK Is Testing Loaded Potatoes

Subway UK is taking things beyond the bun with a bold new menu test: the Spudway. Instead of the usual footlong, customers can now load up a baked jacket potato with their choice of toppings at 170 locations across the UK and Ireland.

The Spudway lineup features hearty options like Cheese & Beans, Tuna, Chicken Tikka, Bacon, Taco Beef, and Rotisserie Chicken—essentially turning a baked potato into a fully loaded meal.

There’s no word yet on whether this concept will make its way to the U.S., but given how loaded potatoes and subs both bring serious comfort food energy, it might just be a matter of time.
