Astronaut Celebrates Cinco De Mayo With Floating Space Tacos

It’s Cinco de Mayo, and as is tradition, Americans flock to their nearest taco shop to feel more ethnic for a day. Well, not everyone has the luxury of walking down the street to pick up some tacos. In fact, this guy doesn’t even have the luxury of streets.

NASA astronaut Scott Kelly Tweeted out a photo of himself with a makeshift taco while in outer space.

The taco is probably closer to some kind of weird Taco Bell creation than it is to an authentic street taco, but it’s the thought that counts. His taco consists of a flour tortilla filled with sausage, rehydrated eggs and enough hot sauce to make it palatable.

While the taco might look a little underwhelming, at least his view is a lot more epic than anywhere we go out to eat tonight.
