Little Caesars Tests Drone Pizza Delivery

Little Caesars is taking pizza delivery off the road and into the air with its new drone program in Texas.

The chain has partnered with Flytrex to roll out Sky2 drones in Wylie, TX, capable of delivering up to 8.8 pounds of food in a single trip. That’s enough to carry two large pizzas plus sides and drinks, landing at your door in about 4.5 minutes.

The drone itself runs as a fully autonomous octocopter, using eight rotors to handle heavier loads than most delivery drones. It covers a four-mile radius and connects directly to Little Caesars’ ordering system, so once you place an order, it gets packed, loaded, and sent out without a driver.

This isn’t Little Caesars’ first run at drone delivery. The brand started testing with Flytrex back in 2023, but this latest setup pushes capacity and speed further into real-world use.

For now, the rollout stays limited to Wylie, but the direction is clear. Delivery keeps getting faster, and now it’s skipping traffic entirely.
