Lay’s Salutes Football Fandom With NFL-Inspired ‘Golden Grounds’ Chips

Lay's Golden Grounds

We’re right at the doorstep of the NFL playoffs, football fans are in a frenzy and the energy is always electric around this time. Lay’s is giving due homage to it all with the release of their new Golden Grounds chips.

Lay’s Golden Grounds chips are essentially the same Lay’s chips, just with a special salute to fans’ favorite teams. The limited-edition bags will feature keepsake packaging donning NFL team colors and logos. The most interesting aspect of this tribute in snack form is the fact that Lay’s pulled some soil directly from NFL stadiums and fields across the country and mixed it into separate parts of Lay’s potato fields to make chips infused with the grounds of America’s favorite NFL teams.

It’s definitely a perfect and one of a kind way to celebrate football and its fans around this time of the year.

Between January 11 and January 25, fans will have the chance to win a bag of these limited-edition chips for themselves. Simply follow Lay’s Twitter (@lays) and keep your eyes peeled for specific Golden Grounds sweepstakes tweets. From there, respond to the tweet showing love for your favorite NFL team in any way you can and use #LaysGoldenGrounds, #Sweepstakes & the official NFL hashtag of your favorite football team.
