Green Burrito Now Has Spicy Barbacoa Burritos—Guac Not Extra

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Green Burrito, The Mexican step-child usually found within Carl’s Jr. stores, but it looks like they’re stepping up their game with a new spicy offering.

Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, of course, they are now selling barbacoa burritos and barbacoa tacos.

Surely trying to jump on the popularity of Chipotle’s barbacoa burritos, these new menu items will feature Green Burrito’s own version of spicy shredded beef.

The burrito will have the barbacoa, refried beans, fresh salsa, hot sauce and creamy guacamole. Yes, the guac comes with it, no need to spend that extra cash for it. The taco will have barbacoa beef, shredded cheese, lettuce and hot sauce in a 6-inch flour tortilla.

If you go on the Carl’s Jr. site, they currently have a coupon for $1 off a combo featuring these barbacoa options.
