Go Ahead And Carb Load At This One Of A Kind Croissant ‘Gym’

The South Korean artistic dessert concept Nudake has just expanded its creative footprint. We previously shared the brand’s quirky Instagram ads in 2022, and since then, Nudake has continued to showcase a truly unique approach to dessert-making. This time, croissants are the centerpiece.

Named “GYM,” the location is clearly tongue-in-cheek and meant to make light of the relationship between carbs and exercise. Rather than the usual croissants, Nudake has transformed them into carby fitness equipment. There are barbell-shaped croissants, treadmills made of croissants, croissant weightlifting equipment, and more croissant quirkiness. Even the seating resembles big dinner rolls. The best part is that visitors can actually interact with some of the pieces.

The “GYM” is located inside South Korean eyewear label Gentle Monster’s Shanghai store, called “Haus Nowhere.”
