Funyuns Reveals Limited-Edition ‘Sour Cream & Funyuns’ Flavor This Month

Why do I like Funyuns? I like them because they’re fun, ring-shaped snacks that resemble fried onion rings (which are one of my favorites). Plus, their texture strikes the perfect balance between crispy and airy. Funyuns have a unique, savory flavor, and that’s why I’m sure many will be excited to hear the brand is launching a new flavor: Sour Cream & Funyuns.

Starting this month, Sour Cream & Funyuns will be a limited-edition flavor available in 5.25 oz bags. This is the newest flavor that our favorite onion-flavored rings will be releasing this year.

To celebrate the newest flavor, let us take a minute to pay tribute to all the Funyuns flavors made available to us over the years.

  • Original: The original flavor of Funyuns, available since 1969
  • Flamin’ Hot: A spicy flavor available since 2007
  • Spicy Queso: A zesty flavor that matches the crispy texture of onion rings
  • Steakhouse Onion: A flavor available from 2015–2018 and again in 2024
  • Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Ramen: A limited-edition flavor available in 2024
  • Chilli & Limón: A flavor available from 2014–2018
  • Wasabi: A flavor available from 2001–2002

No matter what the flavor offering, Funyuns, you can expect to be nothing short of a “fun and deliciously different snack”.
