Disneyland Foodies Rejoice, Themes Park Set To Reopen On April 30th

After over a year of closures due to the coronavirus pandemic, Disneyland is officially setting its reopening date to April 30th, 2021.

The news came from a press release from Disneyland, confirming an official reopening of rides and main attractions, including the first proper reopening of the Disneyland park since its closure in March 2020.

Parts of the theme park and resort have been slowly reopening, including Downtown Disney and California Adventure. A Touch Of Disney, a planned food event inside of California Adventure, will also go on as planned through April 19th.

For the reopening, it will be on a reservation and ticket-based system, meaning guests will need to have both a reservation (free to obtain online) and a ticket to enter the park. Per California rules, the parks will also be at limited capacity that can increase as Orange County moves through the state’s tier reopening system (currently, the county sits in the “Red Tier,” which makes it eligible for theme park reopening).

While this does mean space to get in the park will be limited, it is exciting to know that all of our favorite treats, drinks, and Disney rides are on their way back with a concrete reopening.
