Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Chick-n-Strips Are Back—But Only In Two Locations
Chick-fil-A isn’t done with Spicy Chick-n-Strips just yet.
The chain has quietly brought the limited-time item back for another test, this time at its Sandy Springs and Sprayberry restaurants in the Atlanta market. Customers can order them in-store or through delivery now through September 12, 2026, or while supplies last.
This marks the second time Chick-fil-A has tested Spicy Chick-n-Strips. The first trial arrived in 2023 before disappearing almost as quickly as it arrived, leaving plenty of fans wondering whether the chain would ever revisit the idea.
The strips themselves aren’t new. Chick-fil-A has served its original Chick-n-Strips since the 1990s, using the most tender portion of the chicken breast. The spicy version follows the same formula as the chain’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich, seasoning the chicken with a blend of peppers before breading it and cooking it in 100% refined peanut oil.
Guests can order the strips in 3-count, 4-count, or 10-count servings with their choice of dipping sauce, either on their own or as part of a meal.
The timing is notable. Chicken tenders have become one of the most competitive categories in fast food, with chains like McDonald’s, Popeyes, KFC, El Pollo Loco, and Bojangles all making recent moves around the format. While Chick-fil-A already offers a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and has previously tested spicy nuggets, its Chick-n-Strips have remained one of the few core chicken items without a spicy counterpart.
The Spicy Chick-n-Strips test also arrives alongside another round of menu experimentation. Chick-fil-A is currently testing a Protein Scramble Bowl in four markets while also giving customers the option to add double protein to salads, signaling the brand is actively exploring new ways to evolve its menu.
Whether Spicy Chick-n-Strips eventually earn a permanent spot will likely depend on how customers respond over the next several weeks. For now, anyone near Sandy Springs or Sprayberry has another chance to help make the case.
