Burger King Is Testing Grilled Hot Dogs And Corn Dogs

Burger King is currently testing hot dogs on the menu at restaurants in Michigan and Maryland, The Impulsive Buy reports. While the burger company has been known to test those savory wieners in international locations, this is a first for the US.

The hot dogs are said to be grilled the same way the fast food chain grills its hamburgers. Afterwards, they’re topped with onions, relish, mustard and ketchup. Burger King also is testing corn dogs at these locations.

Patrons can find the grilled hot dogs for $1.99 each and the corn dogs for $1.49 each. If successful, expect to see the hotdog-based items in a wider release.
