Beyonce’s New Song Actually Boosted Red Lobster’s Sales, By A Lot

Red Lobster said that its weekend sales jumped by 33 percent this weekend and they’re actually thanking Beyonce for it.

Beyonce made mention of the seafood restaurant in her latest song entitled, “Formation,” as she said, “When he f*ck me good, I take his ass to Red Lobster.”

The verse immediately had the internet flooded with memes about Red Lobster:

Beyonce’s music video dropped on Saturday and Red Lobster was a little late on the buzz, as they addressed it late in the day, with an underwhelming post:

However, Kim Lopdrup, CEO of Red Lobster, toldCNBC that, “It’s clear that Beyonce has helped create some Red Lobster fans, and we are very grateful to her for that.”

While, the context of the song might not be something Red Lobster parades around, it seems to have helped them, and they should be doing everything they can to milk it.
