Beef Bone Broth Hot Chocolate Is Now A Drink At Erewhon

Photo: Erewhon

Erewhon is stepping into December with some unique warmth: Spicy Bone Broth Hot Chocolate. Yes, hot chocolate… fortified with beef bone broth. Because LA refuses to let winter happen without sneaking wellness into the cup.

The drink is a collab with FOND Regenerative, the bone broth brand that just made the 2026 Whole Foods trend report. And if you’ve seen the #bonebrothhotchocolate discourse on TikTok, this checks out. The internet made it messy, so Erewhon made it real.

Their version blends FOND’s Ginger & Cayenne Beef Bone Broth with coconut milk, cacao, cinnamon, a whisper of cayenne, and a touch of maple syrup. It basically reads like someone tried to coax a mug of hot cocoa into going to therapy.

LA’s temps are supposed to dip soon, so the timing makes sense. This is winter survival for people who swear by adaptogens and have opinions about collagen. And judging from the spike in bone broth searches every December, the city is clearly ready to sip something that warms your hands and your self-satisfaction.

The drink lands at all Erewhon tonic bars and on the Erewhon app for the whole month of December. Members get one free through December 14.

So here we are: hot chocolate, but make it beefy. Only in LA.
