McRib Party Sub [VIDEO]

Just a few days ago the McRib began making headlines in its notorious limited-time run. Just as quickly as the sandwich enters the public consciousness, it will surely leave in early November. We, like many others across the nation caught a bit of euphoria on the way in to work this morning, and decided we wanted to create a McRib Party Sub.

We took to our local Fresh & Easy Market and grabbed a loaf of bread a couple feet long. The bread definitely had a  a crispier edge than a hoagie roll, and established more nuances and flavors than the bun that McDonald’s uses.

Yes, normal party subs are something-like 6′ long, but this one still pretty fun to make and eat, so we’ll consider it a party. Made up of 7 McRib patties, a cup of extra sauce and extra pickles and onions. It’s amazing what the quality of the bread will do to the sandwich.
