Bloody Dexter Cupcake May Give You a Paper Cut

Yum. The classic red velvet cupcake gets a bloody makeover by Magnolia Bakery for Showtime’s special Season 7 Dexter premiere party at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall in NY. The to-die-for cupcakes are decorated with shards of sugar glass and drizzled with red simple syrup.

These babies are a great idea with Halloween right around the bend and/or make the perfect gift for that special someone. Cuz you know, nothing says “I love you” better than homicidal cupcakes.

The above image has been blowing up on Reddit, with bad puns such as “I’m baking muffins ASBESTOS I can!” and “Sounds paneful” left as amusing comment fodder. My favorite of the bunch: “Cupcake Roulette.”
