Rapper Slim Dunkin Reportedly Murdered Over a Piece of Candy?
Say it isn’t so!
As more light is shed on the tragic December 16th death of up-and-coming rapper “Slim Dunkin,” witness reports may lead investigators to believe that it all started over a piece of candy.
While Atlanta police are still on the prowl for the man who dealt the fatal gun shot, homicide detective David Quinn reported “The information we’re getting, it’s unconfirmed, but witnesses are saying this whole thing started over a piece of candy.”
Considering police first showed up at the hospital, and not at the scene of the crime (an Atlanta recording studio), authorities didn’t have the opportunity to properly interview those who were present.
With that in mind, witnesses did end up noting that Dunkin had grabbed a piece of candy from another man while inside the studio, which led to an argument, and then a fistfight. The altercation ultimately ended with Slim Dunkin being shot once in the chest, and later pronounced dead at Grady Hospital.
