McDonald’s Is Putting A Holiday Twist On Sprite, Red Bull, And Coffee
McDonald’s is getting a jump on the holidays, and apparently, cranberry and cookie butter are leading the festivities this year. The Golden Arches is rolling out a new lineup of seasonal drinks on November 3, bringing some holiday cheer to its beverage menu before Thanksgiving even gets a chance to shine.
The lineup features three distinct flavors, including a couple of drinks that take cranberry beyond its usual supporting role at the dinner table.
First up is the Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite, which combines the familiar lemon-lime soda with orange and cranberry flavors, cold foam, and cranberry sprinkles. For anyone whose holiday calendar already looks like a full-time job, there’s also the Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer, featuring the same frosted cranberry treatment with either classic Red Bull or Red Bull Zero.
Meanwhile, cookie butter is getting the full McCafé treatment. McDonald’s is introducing Cookie Butter Frappés, Lattes, and Iced Coffees, featuring rich cookie butter flavor, caramel cookie crumbs, and sweet vanilla whipped topping.
It’s an interesting mix of holiday flavors, especially with cranberry taking center stage in two drinks instead of the usual peppermint or gingerbread suspects.
The new seasonal beverages arrive November 3 at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide for a limited time. So if your holiday spirit needs a little jump start, McDonald’s has a few options that don’t involve untangling Christmas lights.
