Taco Bell Is Testing One Seriously Loaded Quesadilla

Taco Bell is apparently looking at the humble quesadilla and wondering how much more dinner it can fit inside.

The chain is testing a new Steak & Potato Loaded Quesadilla, packing one of its classic menu staples with grilled, marinated steak and crispy potato bites alongside cheddar cheese, warm Nacho Cheese Sauce, and Creamy Jalapeño Sauce.

Sometimes innovation really can be that straightforward.

Everything gets folded inside a warm flour tortilla and grilled, but there’s one more departure from Taco Bell’s usual quesadilla format. Instead of slicing it into the familiar wedges, the Steak & Potato Loaded Quesadilla gets cut straight down the middle into two halves.

For now, Taco Bell is only testing the Steak & Potato Loaded Quesadilla for a limited time at select locations around Oklahoma City. No word yet on whether the steak-and-potatoes situation will eventually make its way nationwide.
