Burger King France Is Serving UFO-Shaped Burgers Stuffed With Ice Cream
Following Jack in the Box’s super-limited Cosmic Cheeseburger, Burger King France is rolling out its own set of UFO-shaped burgers. Instead of going the savory route, however, it’s announced two enclosed dessert-style treats, one stuffed with Nutella and the other with Lotus Biscoff speculoos.
The chilled pocket pastries, called Ice Burgers, are now available in France for app members ahead of their September 8 nationwide release. Aside from their signature flying saucer shape, the Ice Burgers combine hot and cold for a unique temperature and texture experience.
Each treat starts with hot brioche bread filled with cold vanilla ice cream, then gets either Nutella and hazelnut crumbles or Lotus Biscoff spread and Biscoff cookie crumbles. An ice cream sandwich machine seals the brioche pockets and stamps them with BK’s logo.
Since they melt, customers can only order the Ice Burgers in-store at select locations. You can try them in advance by registering for the Kingdom Loyalty Program through BK France’s app. If you’re already a member, head to the Deals tab, then the Coupons section to access the QR code, which you can apply in the app or scan in-store. New members also receive 10% off their first order.
