McDonald’s Taps In ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ For Nationwide Collab
McDonald’s is going all in on one of the loudest pop culture waves right now, linking up with Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters for a nationwide menu drop that leans straight into the global K-pop moment.
Starting March 31, the chain rolls out two dueling adult meals and a brand-new McFlurry, all inspired by the film’s characters and energy. It’s a move that taps into the fandom and builds the entire menu around it.
At the center are two opposing meals. The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal brings the heat with a Spicy Saja McMuffin, layered with a new spicy sauce, plus hash browns and a drink. On the other side, the HUNTR/X Meal stacks Ramyeon McShaker Fries with a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets order, paired with two limited-edition sauces: Hunter Sauce and a bold purple Demon Sauce.
Then there’s the wildcard. The Derpy McFlurry mixes vanilla soft serve with blackberry popping pearls and wild berry sauce, pulling from one of the film’s most recognizable characters. Sounds like a unique bev addition, similar to what McDonald’s is doing with bolstering their McCafé lineup.
Beyond the food, McDonald’s leans deeper into the fandom play. Each meal comes with a collectible photocard and a Derpy access card, which unlocks exclusive content through the McDonald’s app for a limited time.
The collaboration also pulls direct inspiration from McDonald’s South Korea menu, bringing flavors and formats that have already built a following overseas into a U.S. rollout.
With KPop Demon Hunters continuing to gain traction and global attention, this partnership lands as one of McDonald’s more culturally plugged-in drops.
