One of the most requested menu items in Taco Bell history, the Quesarito, has returned. It’s an indulgent handheld of composed of a grilled quesadilla wrapped around seasoned beef and rice, spicy chipotle sauce, reduced-fat sour cream, and melty cheeses.

Since Taco Bell removed it from the menu, fans have flooded the internet with online petitions, dedicated TikTok accounts, and contentious Reddit threads, fueling a lore that was impossible to ignore. The downside is that it’s only returning for a limited time.

“We heard our fans loud and clear,” said Luis Restrepo, Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell. “Their passion turned the Quesarito into a Taco Bell legend, and bringing it back for the holidays felt like the perfect way to celebrate that energy.”

The Quesarito lands at Taco Bell locations nationwide, starting at $4.99. The first 30,000 Taco Bell Rewards members to order one from the Taco Bell app on December 23 at 2 p.m. PT, during the special Tuesday Drop, can get it for just $1.
