Chipotle Just Announced Three Straight Saturdays Of Free Food

Chipotle is decking the halls with… BOGO. A whole lot of BOGO.

To close out the year, Chipotle is rolling out Unwrap Extra, a month-long blitz of holiday deals built around the simple truth of the season: free Chipotle hits harder than any stocking stuffer. The chain is blessing fans with buy-one-get-one entrées on the first three Saturdays of December, starting at 4 p.m. and running through close.

That means:

  • December 6: Buy a three-taco entrée, get a free entrée.
  • December 13: Buy a burrito, get a free entrée.
  • December 20: Wear your loudest, wildest, “I found this at a yard sale in 2003” holiday sweater and get a BOGO entrée in-store.

Rewards Members won’t be left out either—Chipotle says surprise freebies like chips, guac, drinks, or even double protein will randomly drop into member wallets throughout the month.

The big finale arrives December 20 with Extra Sweater Day, Chipotle’s spin on National Ugly Sweater Day. Throw on something festive (or offensively festive), show up, buy any entrée, and walk out with another one for free.

Chipotle’s Chief Brand Officer Chris Brandt says the whole thing is about “giving back” and creating moments for people to gather. Translation: burritos make holiday stress easier, and free burritos make it a full-on celebration.
