It’s hard to turn down a croissant’s flakey, buttery, crispy, and moist taste, especially when it’s freshly baked. According to Yelp, you can finally put your “Best of” debates to rest, as a restaurant in Southern California has been declared number one in the nation and Canada. The news was released to coincide with January 30th, which happened to be National Croissant Day.

Located in Covina, Munchkins Donuts Shop took the top spot with 355 total reviews and has an impressive 4.9 stars out of 5. The popularity extends to the real world, too, where scores of people flock every morning in hopes of securing fresh croissants, donuts, and more. The other Top 10 picks reveal California as America’s croissant mecca, as several cafes from the state land in five of the spots.
