Chick-fil-A Hits New Milestone With Opening Of 3000th Location

On November 9, Chick-fil-A is celebrating the opening of its 3,000th restaurant, or in other words, blessing us with even more delicious chicken. It will be located in the Redbird neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, a historic area that’s been recently revitalized. On opening day, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held by the location’s Owner-Operator Consuela Jacobs, Chick-fil-A’s CEO Andrew Cathy, and other executives.

Along with the usual offerings, the new location includes unique features like an interior wall made with mosaic tile and a plaque that honors it being the 3,000th Chick-fil-A. The company will also be giving back to the local community through several initiatives outlined below:

  • Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate a collective $300,000 to help fight food insecurity and support education in local communities. Feeding America and Junior Achievement will each receive a $150,000 donation.
  • Chick-fil-A RedBird will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits to feed those in need. To date, food from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations has helped create more than 23 million meals, with nearly 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants spanning 47 states, Washington, D.C. and Canada participating in the program.
  • Chick-fil-A RedBird will also recognize 100 local heroes making an impact in the Dallas area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.

Locals can stop by Chick-fil-A’s Redbird on November 9 and can find updates on its Facebook page.
