Burger King Thailand Launches A Cheeseburger Made Up Of Just 20 Slices Of Cheese

I’m not sure who is in charge of Burger King’s creative department, but they deserve some sort of worldwide acknowledgement of the amount of variety they’ve brought to the brand.

We should’ve known they were going bat shit crazy when Burger King started offering tacos and the very short-lived ‘Grilled Dogs’ which were only available for a short time in 2015-2016.

So when the idea of a burger with nothing but cheese gets pitched in Thailand, I’m sure no one even batted an eye in that initial board meeting. Now that we’ve seen it in reality, it’s extraordinarily clear that not all ideas need to be used.

What’s called the “The Real Cheeseburger” is nothing more than a bun filled with up to 20 slices of cheese. That’s it! No meat, condiments, lettuce, tomato, or onion.

The item was launched on Burger King menus in Thailand on July 9 and went viral immediately. With people flocking to try Burger King’s next idea, the reception is expectedly mixed.

CNN reports that a customer by the name of Im Jeepetch tried it and said, “I can only finish half of it.” She continued, “This is an insane amount of cheese added into one burger. Food is good when things are at the right combination.”

Would you try this wild idea from Burger King?
