The San Diego standout touts itself as the “Home of the Big Ass Burrito,” and after a visit to one of their locations in the city, I saw clearly why their massive portions take up so much real estate there.

But beyond the big ass burritos, customers can also get any of them wrapped in bacon — you know, just in case portion indulgence wasn’t enough to hush the tenacious growls in your belly. What’s more, Sayulitas offers loaded fries that actually make that adjective an understatement, as I was slid an order that was more so a victim of an avalanche of tasty ingredients. Talk about tipping the scales of treating yourself.
