Starbucks Announces Bottled Version Of Pink Drink To Hit Shelves This Spring

Who needs new product development engineers when customers are out here creating some of the newest innovations themselves? Starbucks has answered the multitudes of calls from their fans who have adored the infamous Pink Drink — strawberry and acaį flavors mixed with coconut milk and fruit juice — since 2017, when it first joined the menu after gaining immense social media buzz.

The ready-to-drink Pink Drink is one of many exciting new rollouts from the coffee giant. A bottled version of last summer’s newest menu item Paradise Drink will also be joining Pink Drink on the shelf.

“We are excited to launch the new ready-to-drink Starbucks Pink Drink and Paradise Drink on store shelves nationwide, offering our customers another way to enjoy these delicious and refreshing beverages,” said Chanda Beppu, Senior VP & President of Global Channel Development at Starbucks in a press release last week. With a rise in nondairy beverage demand, Starbucks has the perfect solution.

We’ve seen a massive influx of social media influence on popular chain menus and offerings: Chipotle’s Tik Tok Fajita Quesadilla most recently, and even Heinz with their Gigi Hadid-inspired vodka pasta sauce not far behind.

With the new bottled Starbucks drinks anticipated to hit shelves this week, this author wonders how far social media’s consumer influence will go by the end of 2023.
