McDonald’s Rebranding The Crispy Chicken Sandwich Name To The McCrispy

Bye-bye Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Hello McCrispy.

McDonald’s is choosing to rebrand the name of the Crispy Chicken Sandwich to the more catchy McCrispy. The fast food giant has tested the McCrispy name and concept in Canada this past summer, with a nationwide rollout that happened last August.

With the rebrand comes a pair of new Bacon Ranch McCrispy Sandwiches that will be available nationwide in the U.S. come the end of February, as reported by Chewboom. The new McCrispy sandwiches are the Bacon Ranch McCrispy and Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy.

Here’s the delicious deets on the two Bacon Ranch McCrispy sandwiches:

  • Bacon Ranch McCrispy: A crispy, all-white meat chicken fillet topped with applewood-smoked bacon, crinkle-cut pickles, and ranch sauce on a toasted, buttered potato roll.
  • Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy: An all-white meat chicken fillet, applewood-smoked bacon, shredded lettuce, Roma tomatoes, and ranch sauce on a toasted, buttered potato roll.

The continued focus on chicken sandwiches is a testament to the continued popularity of them in the fast food space, as brands attempt to snag their own version of the lightning that Popeyes caught in a bottle back in 2019.
