7-Eleven Japan to Offer Pokémon Poké Ball Rice Balls

Coming soon to 7-Eleven Japan locations are three Pokémon Poké Rice Balls that almost look too cool to eat. Key word — almost. That’s because all three of the Poké Rice Balls, or onigiri, are filled with goodies like chicken, eggs and mushrooms. As reported by SoraNews24, the debut of these new items is in celebration of the upcoming newest installment in the Pokémon video game franchise, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

The three onigiri come in three distinct and delicious types to capture your hunger:

  • Standard Poké Ball: Teriyaki sausage patty on pepper rice with a garlic mayonnaise sauce.
  • Great Ball: Omurice (rice omelet) with chicken rice, demi-glace sauce and two kinds of mushrooms.
  • Ultra Ball: Hard-boiled egg steeped in tonkotsu pork stock ramen broth.

All three Poké Ball onigiri will go on sale at 7-Eleven locations in Japan on November 18.
