This Guy Cooked Chicken in a Hotel Room Coffee Pot to Save Company Expenses

Foregoing the typical business related LinkedIn posts, a guy named Alexander Cohen decided to share how he saves company expenses while traveling for work. In the post he details how rather than spending money at a fancy restaurant, he’s found an inventive, humorous, and questionably unsanitary way to cook cheaper meals.

Using a coffee pot at his kitchen-less hotel, Cohen managed to “successfully” cook chicken with butter and garlic. He apparently wanted to impress his higher-ups, sharing, “It’s the little things that get you promoted.”

Cohen’s funny snapshot of corporate travel life grew to be his most popular LinkedIn post to date, inspiring him to share it on Twitter. With the post receiving over 80k likes, even more business travelers related to his promotion pursuit. In fact, his adaptable approach sparked a thread ranging from worrisome replies to other hilariously clever money-saving cooking ideas.

Another annoyed reply came from @andrewRD_PT_MHP, confused whether Cohen was joking or not:
