HUF Skateboarding’s Latest Collection Is An Exclusive Burger Tribute To Popeye

Many fondly remember Popeye the Sailor cartoon by the hero’s favorite snack to get brolic on his foes — spinach. In an unlikely tribute to the sailor with a penchant for greens, HUF recently dropped a capsule collection centered around him and other characters of the cartoon. Additionally, the collection was treated to an exclusive burger from Los Angeles burger haven, The Golden State, to help promote it.

Dubbed ‘The Wimpy Burger’ in honor of Wimpy, the burger-mooching character, it’s delectably built with grilled onions, bacon bits, and creamed spinach as a nod to Popeye, all on top of a brioche bun. Peep the juicy deets above to understand the full magnitude of just how munch-worthy this burger is and then go to both  Los Angeles-area locations of The Golden State and thank me later.

As for the clothing collection, expect the same polished street-inspired skate apparel from HUF, as it’s highlighted by socks, a beanie, button-up shirt, and hoodie, amongst others, all emblazoned with Popeye iconography and characters such as Olive Oil and Wimpy. Check out some images of the collection below and consider these jawnz as your spinach to flex on folks.
