Kanye Tastes Reindeer Meat For First Time: ‘It Tastes Like Christmas’

One of the best things about Kanye West is seeing the wonderment in his eyes when it comes to food. Whether he’s enjoying some nachos at a ballgame,

or going HAM on an ice cream cone,

Kanye epitomizes the sheer joy that should be felt when eating food.

So it should come as no surprise that Kanye would have the best answer when asked what an Icelandic delicacy tastes like.

While on the red carpet for the Met Gala this weekend, West and Kim Kardashian were asked by Vogue Magazine’s Andre Leon Talley what the couple ate while on a recent trip to Iceland. Kim said that in Iceland, people eat horse and reindeer meat. Of course, Talley was intrigued by the thought of eating reindeer and asked the power couple what it tastes like.

Right when Kim was about to give some boring ass answer, that sounded, like, French fries, Kanye stepped in to give the real answer.

“It tastes like Christmas.”

What else would Santa’s favorite choice of transportation taste like? It makes so much sense.

Kanye knows how to enjoy his food, and everything probably tastes like Christmas to him, but I’d like to think that reindeer has a little more holiday cheer in it.
