A Nutella ‘Addiction’ Got This German Soccer Player In Trouble With His Team

Max Cruse is a 27-year-old German soccer player and he has a problem…a Nutella problem.

Amongst other questionable things, like the $84,000 in cash he left in a taxicab after a night of poker playing, he’s been more interestingly outted by his club for his addiction to Nutella. Cindy Boren of the Washington Post reports that he simply can’t get enough of it. A German newspaper notes that Wolfsburg team officials told him to lay off sugar-rich treats, particularly Nutella.

At least the team is inflicting a bit of self-policing on their squad instead of being like that mother who sued Nutella because she was shocked it wasn’t healthy.
