Kut N’ Sow Brand Serving Serious Steam Bun Menu Items

Kut N’ Sow is a hard one to categorize. They’re not a food truck, they’re not a restaurant, and they’re not a full-blown catering service. They just are. They work out of a tent, and have been making a big splash amid the other bigwig food trucks at the Long Beach Summer food truck summer series — Lunch Truck It.

Imagine two beautiful young women serving some delicious freshly steamed buns with a simple menu consisting of either Turbinado Sugar Crusted Pork Belly or Roasted Soy-Ginger Chicken. Once your meat selection is set, you get to choose one of two toppings, sweet Fuji BBQ apple or spicy pickled radish with hoisin sauce.

With such a simple, memorable menu and spot-on branding, the sky’s the limit for these talented chefs. The brand’s Jolie Dionisio and Nelly Cooper have been keeping extremely busy at the events they show up at. An article from the LB Post recaps their first couple appearances at local events and the positive response they continue to receive.  Even during our latest visit, they had sold out of some of our favorite’s by day’s end (their bacon chocolate bar is something to ask for!).

One of the fun things about their brand is their constantly experimental dessert menu, as if they were creating goodies for their kids. In our most recent visit, they forked over this delicious Peach Cobbler pastry piece they were working on:

To keep up on Kut N’ Sow‘s future endeavors, stay connected to their Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter. You won’t regret it.
